With a few clicks GeboMD’s EHR product allows a physician to chose, complete and sends an appropriate test order to a lab or imaging studies facility. Automatically attaches the orders to patient electronic chart, send script to a test facility, create a narrative within the encounter progress note or report. Upon receiving the results, the system prompts office personnel to rout a record for physician’s review and into patient’s electronic chart.

Our EHR system has build in collaboration with MEDCIN clinical knowledge engine utilizing its extensive database. MEDCIN is a system of standardized medical terminology, a proprietary medical vocabulary. MEDCIN is a point-of-care terminology, intended for use in Electronic Health Record systems. It includes over 250,000 clinical data elements encompassing symptoms, history, physical examination, tests, diagnoses and therapy. This clinical vocabulary contains over 26 years of research and development as well as the capability to cross map to leading codification systems such as SNOMED, CPT, ICD, DSM, GSM and LOINC.
The MEDCIN coding system is the ideal coding system for point-of-care documentation and architecture. The GeboMD system embedded with MEDCIN produces fully structured and numerically codified patient charts enabling the aggregation, analysis, and extensive mining of all clinical and practice management data related to a disease, a patient or a population.

Offers Electronic prescribing
GeboMD’s EHR product allows a physician to create and send a script to the pharmacy just by clicking on few buttons. Just pick an appropriate medication, dosage and description of how it is taken from your custom “Favorite” list with the pharmacy of your choice and press “SEND”. System automatically creates a script, checks it against recorded allergies patient may have, checks if the medication is on a formulary list and if not, makes a suggestion what it can be substitute with. Also allows a physician to access a nationwide pharmacy database and see the history of prescribed medication.
Offers Automated Coding and Billing
GeboMD’s system allows a physician to minimize time, efforts and cost of coding and billing parts of the practice’s workflow. The system has been build to incorporate the process of coding and billing of the encounters to ensure accurate codes are used. The system receives updates on regular bases to ensure it is in compliance with latest HCFA and CMS regulations. In addition a physician has the option to override the code if desired.
