Sales Manager
The position reports to the COO. The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales activities in order to meet company targets for growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospecting, executing leads, and generating leads from new and existing clients
- Management of the pipeline of opportunities from current and prospective customers to ensure that goals are met
- Contribute to our profitability by closing sales
- Build a relationship with clients to better understand their needs and create a clean transfer of sale to customer support and implementation.
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years experience selling healthcare solutions, preferably Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records (EHR/EMR), into small to medium sized physician practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare IT solution selling methodology. Preferred experience in EHR/EMR
- Develop and execute a sensible plan to sell and market our Practice Management and EHR/EMR solution to various layers of physician and healthcare specialist
- Have an understanding of the demographics of the physician community that will use the products and an understanding of the staffing and management in the office
- Preferable someone who is familiar with the issues of physician office automation and how to overcome the challenges of office automation
- Develop correspondence with the potential clients and facilitate resolutions to issues that may be encountered in the sales process
- Develop opportunities to present to larger groups of physicians away from their office
- Must be able to hit the ground running and be ready to contribute to the growth of the company
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with implementation and training team to ensure customer success
- Previous experience in developing business plans
- Must be energetic and progressive
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management, (CRM), database systems
- Experience creating reports for sales, marketing and executive management within a CRM system
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Web applications
- Demonstrated ability to learn and keep-up with current trends, regulations, and products in the Practice Management and Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records (EHR/EMR) sectors
- May require some overnight travel with flexible hours to meet physician’s schedule
- Prefer BS/BA in liberal arts, healthcare or technical degree
